Following the themes of Rethinking Nature (2021) and Rethinking Identity (2023), the curators of the 10th edition of the European Month of Photography Luxembourg (emoplux 2025) turn their focus to Rethinking Photography. This final chapter of the Rethinking… trilogy engages with one of the most pressing questions in the field of contemporary image-making.
In an era where photography is under pressure from multiple forces—artificial intelligence, the demands of the woke movement, and the influence of the far right—it is increasingly called upon to address urgent questions of truth, authenticity, and originality.
